School Picnic and Gymboree party

The kids' school has a family picnic each year.  We meet at a local playground, they have lots of food, a moonbounce, a D.J. and a fire truck.  This year the kids decided to run in the water from the fire hose....and no it was not great weather for that.  It was fun to watch the kids be kids and just smile and have fun.  Of course, they were a bit chilly at the end!

Elizabeth had her first big birthday party this year.  We had lots of friends to Gymboree.  Here are a few of the pictures of the fun.  Papa and Grandma Carol even flew up for the big party!  It was a fun, crazy good kid time!

Celebrating Elizabeth

Elizabeth turned 3 on May 4th...yes, 3 years old. I cannot believe it has been 3 years since she came into our lives!  She is such a sweet little GIRL...she is kind, gentle, loving and caring.  What a blessing.
After I uploaded the pictures this time, I realized the new format loads them differently than before...so these are backwards.
Our church had a women's tea last Saturday.  Elizabeth and I were both excited to go to her first real tea party.  She was adorable!  She took her purse, painted her nails, and we even coordinated our outfits.  It was such a special time with her.  She really enjoyed the food....well, the lack of boundaries that I gave her.  She filled up on many hershey kisses and M&Ms.  Our table even won 2 of the games which meant Elizabeth got to choose a prize.  She picked a fun braclet and necklace.

We had a family celebration of her birthday at home.  Kyle picked his present for her...he got it perfect.  She loves her double stroller!

We made cupcakes to take in to school to share with her friends.  I let the kids decorate them by themselves....full creative freedom (and quite a mess!)
 yummmmm....sprinkles

Do you think she likes sprinkles?  This is the cupcake she decorated to eat at the time!

We love you, Elizabeth!
