Kyle went to his 4 year old check up on Friday.....he is in the 80% for weight and 75% for height....may outgrow me by his next b-day!
He also got 5....yes 5 shots! It started ok...but didn't end up well....he was crying.....so I took him for a special treat afterwards. I enjoy these special times with him!

Last weekend, Aunt Carrie was nice enough to come up here to visit us. Unfortunatly, it was a BAD weekend! Kyle was getting over being sick and Elizabeth was actually sick. That made for some very tired, grumpy and non-compliant kids!. And to top it off....it is winter so that leaves us with only a few fun outing options. Carrie was a good trooper, though. I loved having her here to just spend time with....can't wait for 2 1/2 years until we get to do it more often!!!! And we did get to have a nice dinner together. Thanks, Carrie for coming up to visit!

We can't believe he is 4!!!!!

We had Kyle's birthday party at the local fire station with a few of his friends. The kids had a blast!!!! Unfortnuatly due to some snow, Pop-Pop, Stephanie and her family, Mark and his family and Marcin and his family were unable to come.

The kids got to go on a real fire truck for a ride, play on all of the trucks and try on fireman gear. We played pin the hat on the fire dog, the kids played with their toy trucks, ate cake, danced and just let the kids be kids. It was a great party for Kyle! Kyle did some decorating with me too!

Ha! So, Kyle loves to cook..but I usually direct. Tonight I gave him full creative freedom. He wanted to make a birthday cake for Elizabeth (yes, her b-day is in May).
Here are his ingredients:
water
flour
butter
a piece of cheese
a grape
some coke
chocolate chips
sprinkles
and a lot of mixing!
So funny to watch him. He kept checking the fridge and cabinet for the right things to add!

Kyle and I had a special trip to a REAL hill . We took our new snow tube (thank you, Simon) and the sled. It was a blast! Crazy!
